Biography

M. P. Halliday loves the lesser-known fairytales—the ones with darkness and redemption, enchantments and morals—and reimagines them as feminist stories with historical underpinnings and modern sensibilities. She began her journey to authorhood at Southern Utah University studying Creative Writing, took a detour to the University of Utah for a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, returning course with her debut young adult novel, SkyBlue. She lives in Woodstock, Georgia with her husband, a corgi who thinks she’s a queen, and three guinea pigs named after a few of history’s most ambitious women: Ruth, Greta, and Malala.
